Overview:
We are seeking a Technical Project Manager with a deep background in automation, engineering, and SCADA/Ignition systems. With a strong project pipeline ahead, this full-time remote role is critical for leading the delivery of industrial automation and controls initiatives across various sectors.
Key Qualifications:
- Proven experience in technical project management, especially in automation, controls, or industrial software environments.
- Hands-on expertise with SCADA, Ignition, controls engineering, and MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems).
- Strong technical foundation-ideally someone who has "done the work" in SCADA/controls/MES roles before moving into project management.
- Exceptional communication, team leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage remote, cross-functional teams and drive accountability across multiple projects.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate automation and controls projects from planning through to completion.
- Work closely with technical teams to ensure alignment on scope, design, and execution.
- Provide technical input and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, particularly around SCADA/Ignition systems.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring expectations are met and exceeded.
- Troubleshoot issues proactively and maintain momentum across all project phases.
